Title: Life With Mixmaster

"I think it's trying to digest you," Mixmaster chirruped at Hook as the chemist licked the remaining ichor off his fingers. "At least that's what I would use these chemicals for!"
A large, excessively putrid yellow plant had wrapped its petals around Hook's arm fifteen minutes ago, dug in surprisingly strong hooks of an unknown material, secreted some sort of glue, and proceeded to not let go when Hook drew his energy sword and separated flower from stem.
It was really quite irritating.
"Are you going to get it off, or am I?" Hook asked, tone laced with impatience. "I have work to be doing. Very little of it can be done effectively while dragging this around."
"And h-how, dear brother, were you planning to remove that daffodil?" Mixmaster tickled the edges of overlapped, yellow petals.
Hook ignited his energy sword. "I thought I might cut the arm off entirely. But it occurred to me there was some small chance you would be able to create a solvent to remove this."
"That would work," Mixmaster mused as he tipped his face towards his gestalt-mate's energy sword. "Very simple, too."
"Elegant, almost," Hook said drily. "Yet I would be without an arm."
"S-so you would!"
"Which is why it would be helpful - and I know that's a word you don't hear often, Mixmaster - for you to create a solvent instead."
Mixmaster tilted his head slightly. Then he tilted it slightly to the other side. "I think I like your plan better."
"You would."
