(I just realized I haven't posted this over here, only on LJ, so....)

Dark Ages of Cybertron is a MUSH (Multi User Shared Hallucination, a text-based, multi-player roleplaying game based on cooperative and interactive storytelling) based in the Transformers universe. Our setting is Cybertron, several thousand years before the characters from the TV show leave for Earth, and incorporates mostly G1 and comics canon (with some elements incorporated from other continuities.) We have both canon and original characters, a really friendly and helpful staff, and an AWESOME group of players. A MUSH is a real-time, text-based game that runs in what is basically a glorified chat room. If you're not familiar with MUSHes, there's a getting started guide on the wiki linked above, and there's a flash-based client here - just select "Dark Ages of Cybertron" from the list on the left, click connect, and you'll be able to log in and look around. We have players in a variety of time zones (mostly US and UK) and while freeform RP takes place at all times, we schedule events to be friendly and accessible for players with all sorts of schedules.

We're currently ESPECIALLY looking for Autobots and players for the various Combaticons and Constructicons (which are not yet members of a gestalt in either case- see upcoming plots on the wiki) , but there's a list of open canon characters here.

We have a special event this weekend, and we'd love to have people who think they might be interested come check us out. It'll be play-able as a one-shot, with no further commitment required. This event will START at noon (CST) on Sunday, so if you're interested in playing as a once-off to see what you think, please get in touch with me (PM here, email at daoc.staff@gmail.com, on the MUSH itself, or on AIM at protectobotsFTW) before then and we'll get you set up. :D
